Our Senior Citizens—A Challenge With Hope

Abstract

Research is proving that the abnormal manifestations of senility can be controlled, ameliorated and reversed. Success depends on the physician's understanding of and ability to control the abnormal behavior of elderly patients. While treatment with chemotherapeutic agents is often effective, special consideration should also be directed to nutritional problems. Total improvement, says the author, will be almost directly proportionate to the help and tender loving care the patient receives.
