Tranquilizers in Allergy

Pages 497-501 | Published online: 18 Apr 2016

Abstract

The holistic approach is the most dependable, consistent and effective way to manage allergic patients.

While most tranquilizers have a low allergenic effect, some do cause side reactions, and instances of these are cited and discussed. Selected psychopharmacologic agents may be useful adjuvants in the treatment of chronic allergic conditions. Examples are given of effective agents and of the situations to which they apply.
