Anesthesia in the Office and Small Hospital

Abstract

Most physicians can safely administer certain general and local anesthetics if they are willing to acquaint themselves with the principles involved. Knowledge of resuscitation is also essential. Instruction in the preparation of the patient is offered, and the three common anesthetic technics (inhalation, regional, intravenous) are considered here.
