Intussusception in Children

Abstract

In 50 cases of intussusception in children, treatment was by barium enema reduction in 10 and operation in 40. There was one death in each group. Intestinal resection was required in 17 patients treated by operation.

Causes of gastrointestinal bleeding in children are briefly reviewed.
