Recognition of Lesions of the Pancreas Amenable to Surgical Treatment

Abstract

Lesions of the pancreas can be recognized with a fair degree of accuracy at present. While the results of surgical treatment are not as satisfactory as one would like, many patients can be materially benefited when operation is performed at the proper time and under appropriate conditions.
