Abstract
A duplication in human subjects of the investigative efforts by veterinarians directed toward finding the cause and the means of preventing inflammation of the epididymis and vas deferens is in order. The groundwork already has been laid. The author argues against the “trauma or strain” theory of causation and explains why he regards this hypothesis as unscientific.
