The Natural History of Hypertension

Abstract

The decision for treatment in mild hypertension is not clear-cut because knowledge of the natural history of the disease is imperfect. Each patient must be evaluated on an individual basis to determine the degree of hypertensive vascular damage and atherosclerosis.
