Abstract
A plea is made for an extension of the indications for arteriography. Seven cases are presented to demonstrate the need for early arteriography when the history and physical findings suggest a surgically correctable vascular lesion. Failure to perform these studies early in the cases described led to incorrect diagnosis, extension of disease, incorrect treatment, and delay of proper therapy. Arteriography by improved technics not only demonstrates abnormalities clearly but also helps to delineate the best surgical approach.
