Abstract
General principles in the management of hemophilia are outlined. With the proper protection, replacement therapy for the deficient clotting factor, and necessary orthopedic therapy for musculoskeletal complications of hemorrhage, these patients should be able to lead satisfactory lives and have relatively unhandicapped mobility.
