Pages 300-306 | Published online: 18 Apr 2016

Abstract

Selection of therapy for primary breast cancer must be based on the stage of advancement. The Columbia clinical classification (stages A, B, C, D) is simple, precise and practiced and may be used to select therapy as well as to compare various forms of treatment. Recommendations for therapy are presented based on this classification.
