Abstract

When the occupational health physician in small industry is restricted by economic stringencies, he can find in the community cooperative resources that can substitute for the more elaborate “health team” elements of large industry. Committees on occupational health in county and state medical societies may often provide the needed cooperative liaison among physicians, management and community organizations to solve these problems.
