Abstract
The diagnostic usefulness of repeated colorimetric assays of lactic dehydrogenase (LDH) and glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase (GOT) activity is compared with the other currently used methods of diagnosing acute myocardial infarction. Such repeated assays have been found to be valuable adjuncts in the diagnosis of infarction. The desirability of prompt and frequent, if not daily, assays of LDH and GOT activity after a suspected insult is emphasized.
