Management of Chronic Renal Failure in Children

, M.D.
Pages 378-382 | Published online: 18 Apr 2016

Abstract

Dialysis and organ transplantation are not yet applicable in all cases of chronic renal failure in children, but a great deal can be done to help these young patients. Symptoms can be relieved and life prolonged. Appropriate measures should be instituted as soon as the pathophysiologic disorders associated with chronic renal failure are evident.
