Pulseless Disease (Takayasu's Syndrome)

Abstract

Pulseless disease secondary to arteriosclerotic occlusion of the right carotid artery at the level of the innominate artery was successfully treated by endarterectomy and patch graft. The patient, a 50 year old woman, complained of transitory visual loss in the right eye. The results of physical and neurologic examinations and the details of the surgical procedure are presented.
