Abstract
Perennial desensitization for asthma and hay fever is not contraindicated by pregnancy and even is preferred to coseasonal treatment. Twelve patients with hay fever or asthma, or both, underwent perennial treatment during a total of 20 pregnancies without obstetric complications; no congenital anomalies occurred. Perennial treatment is more practical and less expensive for the patient with multiple seasons than coseasonal treatment and need not be interrupted in the event of future pregnancy.
