Abstract

Too often, the woman with vague nonlocalizing complaints originating in and referred from the lower urinary tract is considered psychoneurotic or is treated for diseases of the gastrointestinal or reproductive system. Careful clinical investigation and thorough evaluation of the symptoms should indicate the correct diagnosis and therapy.
