Abstract

Part 1 of this article traced the history of body-build classification and discussed the importance of morphologic description in evaluating patients. Anthropometry and anthroposcopy were also discussed. Part 2 deals primarily with the measurement of skinfold thickness and determination of somatotype. Finally, certain relationships that have been observed between body-build and disease are delineated.
