Abstract
Simple eye tests are described and illustrated. Instrumentation includes an ordinary flashlight, a hand slit lamp, a tonometer, and a simple miniature perimeter. The Snellen method is preferred for testing of far vision. A modification of the Prince rule provides a simple means of measuring the near point of accommodation.
