Abstract

Immuno-allergy encompasses many conditions besides the major allergic disorders such as asthma and allergic rhinitis. Among these other conditions are insect allergy and some drug reactions. Following discussions of these two topics, the immunologic significance of the thymus is considered in relation to auto-immune disease and the familial disorder ataxia-telangiectasia. Five immunologic technics that could be available to most physicians are listed.
