Teen-age Cesarean Section

Abstract

In 1961 and 1962, cesarean section was performed in 169 teen-age patients in several United States Navy obstetric units. Indications, antepartum complications, types of anesthetic and cesarean section employed, maternal morbidity, and perinatal mortality are discussed and compared with other series of cesarean sections.
