New Opportunities for Improving Health Care

Abstract

More major health legislation has been enacted during the past two years than in the entire history of this country. Medicare is meeting its challenging assignment and stimulating improvements beneficial to all citizens. Other programs being developed are concerned with care for the medically indigent, maternal and child health, medical research and research training, health manpower resources, and family planning.
