Abstract

Implantation of the internal mammary or gastroepiploic artery into the myocardium, with or without endarterectomy, is believed to be the current procedure of choice when surgical treatment is indicated in angina pectoris. Experience with 41 operations for coronary artery disease (CAD) performed over a nine year period is reviewed.
