Nonepileptic Fits in Children

Abstract

Three conditions simulating epilepsy in children are discussed: breath-holding spells, masturbation and labyrinthitis. A careful history is the key to diagnosis of all three; it will be more helpful than electroencephalography or any laboratory test.
