Abstract

Acne, contact dermatitis, warts, skin cancer, chronic leg ulcers, psoriasis and fungous infections are discussed. The systemic use of tetracycline is indicated in many cases of acne, and the “pill” may be a boon to some girls with this skin disorder. Cases of skin cancer have been successfully treated by curettage and electrodesiccation. The author outlines a treatment for chronic leg ulcers in patients who cannot be hospitalized.
