, M.D.
Pages 475-479 | Published online: 18 Apr 2016

Delayed hypersensitivity reactions are associated with the interaction of antigen with cells rather than with serum antibody. Various concepts of delayed hypersensitivity have been developed, largely from animal experiments. This paper explores some of these concepts and suggests some of the implications of further work in this field.
