Abstract

To find causes of infertility in women, patients are examined under anesthesia, culdoscopy is done, and the uterus is curetted. With the information gained, fertility can sometimes be restored by resecting an endometrioma, establishing fallopian tube patency, correcting a congenital anomaly, resecting wedges from polycystic ovaries, or removing a myoma.
