Peritoneoscopy in Private Practice

Abstract

The peritoneal cavity of seven patients was inspected through a telescope. With this instrument and a biopsy needle, the examiner was able to diagnose metastatic carcinomas, tuberculous peritonitis, hepatocellular jaundice, polycystic liver disease, chronic passive congestion, and secondary amyloidosis.
