Bloody Pericardial Effusion

Abstract

This is the case of a 47 year old veteran who had shortness of breath three weeks after a supposed bout of pneumonia. He then had heart failure with hemopericardium. He lived for three more months, during which time other symptoms included hemoptysis, fever and chest pain.
