Abstract
Extensive research has failed to establish conclusively that a high intake of fat is the major cause of coronary thrombosis. However, there is no known exception to the generalization that the incidence of coronary thrombosis in populations is proportional to their sugar consumption. This hypothesis deserves research equally as intensive as that done on fat intake and blood cholesterol.
