Abstract

Allergies are often limited to or exacerbated during warm weather. Common problems include allergic reaction to horse serum given for immunization against tetanus, anaphylactic reactions to insect bites, reaction to chlorinated swimming pools or cold water in asthmatics, and allergy to sunlight, poison ivy, pollens and molds. Treatment and preventive measures for these common allergies are discussed.
