Treating General Pelvic Relaxation

, M.D.
Pages 165-169 | Published online: 18 Apr 2016

Abstract

Urinary tract work-up and careful examination for concurrent disease are essential in evaluating pelvic relaxation in geriatric patients. In choice of therapy, severity of symptoms and their effect on the patient must be weighed against surgical risk and probability of alleviation. If operation is indicated, meticulous anesthesiologic evaluation is essential.
