Abstract
In most cases of esophagitis of hiatal hernia, prompt improvement will follow institution of simple measures. These include use of antacids, elevating the head of the bed, and modifying the diet. Serious cases will require a more vigorous approach, but ma ny of these will respond satisfactorily also
