Abstract

Given the following story, what would be your diagnosis? A 70 year old divorced man, thought then depressed. After he was missed for two days, he was found in coma. When examined at the hospital, he had a stiff neck, a rectal temperature of 87° F, and slow ankle reflexes. Three days after admission, he died.
