Abstract

Some questions posed by anesthetists which are answered here include: Should a patient whose hematocrit is less than 35 be anesthetized? How can aspiration be prevented? How far should the anesthetist go into the patient's history? What about inadequate records? What should be done when patients are taking such drugs as the Rauwolfia derivatives or phenothiazines?
