Systemic Involvement in the CRST Syndrome

Abstract

The CRST syndrome would appear to be a variant of the more rapidly progressive form of scleroderma. Although attention has been focused on the characteristic changes in the skin and fingers, diffuse changes occur in many other organ systems. In the two cases described here, renal involvement is already present.
