How I Treat Hyperpigmentation of the Face in Women

Abstract

Chloasma is probably the most common cause of hyperpigmentation in women. Most cases today seem to result from use of oral contraceptives. Prognosis is fairly good if hormonal stimulus is removed and the patient follows the prescribed treatment.
