Which Operation in Elective Treatment for Benign Gastric Ulcer?

Abstract

Most gastric ulcers are attributed to irritation of the antral mucosa from hypomotility and pyloric obstruction. Subtotal gastrectomy, removing no more than 50 to 60 percent of the stomach, seems to be the best treatment.
