Abstract

Focal vascular disorders must be differentiated from diffuse vascular insufficiency and other conditions which can mimic strokes. Among the latter are convulsive disorders, labyrinthine vertigo, expanding intracranial lesions, cranial arteritis, migraine, senile dementia, and transient global amnesia
