How I Treat Sebaceous Cysts

Abstract

Sebaceous cysts, slow-growing subcutaneous tumors filled with cheesy amorphous material, are more accurately described as “pilar” or “epidermal” cysts. Large cysts can be treated by surgical excision. Small cysts are simply incised and the contents gently expressed.
