Aneurysmal Bone Cyst

Abstract

An aneurysmal bone cyst is a benign, well-circumscribed, expansile, “bubbly,” rarefied lytic lesion. It occurs most often in adolescents and young adults and may cause serious disability when near a vital structure. Excision is the preferred treatment.
