Abstract
When patients have a true positive reaction to a Mantoux test (induration of 10 mm or more at the test site in 48 hours), ideally they should receive isoniazid for 12 months. Tuberculin Screening tests will easily identify persons at risk, and routine isoniazid therapy will reduce the incidence of clinical disease.
