Right Diaphragmatic Hernia With Thoracic Kidney

Abstract

Congenital right diaphragmatic hernias are rare but often are associated with other significant abnormalities. For this reason diagnostic procedures should include fluoroscopy with barium swallow and an intravenous urogram. In the case reported here, surgery to correct a diaphragmatic hernia disclosed the right kidney within the thorax.
