Abstract

Most hospitals provide physical therapy services, but if physicians are not well informed about indications, technics and prescriptions for rehabilitation, medical supervision is seriously affected. To provide postgraduate instruction in this field, a two year program was devised, consisting of monthly clinics and lectures in a community hospital. The program proved so successful that similar plans have been developed in other communities and other areas of medicine.
