Abstract

A 72 year old retired bus driver complained of abdominal symptoms and back pain. Chest films showed pulmonary infiltrates and a hilar mass. The source of his back pain proved to be myeloma. The pulmonary lesions arose from bronchogenic carcinoma and were myelomatous infiltrates. Before death, the patient displayed signs of peripheral and cerebellar neuropathies.
