Abstract

Every gynecologic problem seen in adult women has been reported in little girls, but many of the disorders obviously are rare in children. Vaginoscopy in the child is as important in diagnosis as speculum examination in the adult. The most common complaint in children is vaginal discharge with vulvovaginitis. The treatment is essentially the same for both adults and children.
