How We Treat Vitiligo

Abstract

Vitiligo is an idiopathic, acquired and progressive depigmenting skin disorder. Melanocytes are markedly reduced in number or absent in affected areas. Treatment has been generally unsatisfactory, but cosmetics are helpful, and recent studies show promise of a safe, reliable treatment.
