Abstract

Elbow fractures account for 60 percent of complications of upper extremity injuries in children. Symptoms of vascular insufficiency or evidence of entrapment of a nerve during manipulation calls for immediate surgical action. In forearm fractures an excellent alignment should be sought but not at the expense of three or four manipulations.
