Effect on Deciduous and Permanent Teeth of Tetracycline Deposition in Utero

, M.D.
Pages 165-168 | Published online: 18 Apr 2016

Abstract

The case reported here concerns a child whose deciduous teeth were discolored by tetracycline deposition during fetal life and whose permanent teeth are now erupting. At seven, she has four normal white permanent incisors. Apparently, tetracycline deposited in utero will not affect the permanent teeth.
