The Montefiore-Morrisania Comprehensive Child Care Project

Abstract

A “comprehensive” program of health care for poor children must do far more than meet the purely medical problems if it is to live up to its name. Poor health goes hand in hand with the deplorable living conditions in the slums of our nation's large cities. A broad range of coordinated services and a large helping of innovation can work wonders.
