Chronic Infection in Childhood

Abstract

When a child has a history of chronic infections, x-rays may give a hint as to the nature of the disease process. In the six year old boy discussed here, films showed a peribronchial infiltrative process, opacified paranasal sinuses, and absence of lymphoid tissue in the posterior pharynx.
